Puspa Kirana art foundation is an educational foundation which conserves art and culture of Bali.Puspa Kirana has interesting meaning; Puspa means, flower and Kirana means holy flame, and then Puspa Kirana means flower that flamed by the holy gleam, so it will grow and developed to produce a beautiful artwork.
The foundation’s office located at Tangkup,Tegallalang Village. Puspa Kirana troupe is a professional group with a cultural philosophy much like temple or sanggar. It was established on 18th of April 2007, but the art education process of the foundation has been organized since 2003. This foundation always active in educating the students, the practice is held every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. Besides for the local people, the exercised is also on behalf of foreign tourists with time arrangement previously. Members of the foundation see themselves as a community of leaders who, through their music and dance, positively will able to contribute art, culture, social and politic life for their village. This troupe is majoring classic and social dances which always praying to the god before doing the activities. All of those efforts are for conserving the culture of Bali.
